Survey Findings — 19–20 Irving Street

Our lead engineer Anas attended site to assess the existing kitchen ventilation and determine the full scope of works required. Here's a summary of the key findings that inform this quote.

📍
Site Location
19–20 Irving Street, London WC2H 7AU
Central London — Leicester Square area
🍳
Kitchen Type & Layout
Commercial kitchen requiring two separate canopy hoods plus dishwasher condensate extraction
Two main cooking lines with separate dishwasher area
🌀
Existing Ventilation
Existing extraction system in place — fan to be replaced, ductwork partially reused
Existing fan is inadequate and to be removed. Canopy 1 connects to existing spigots. Canopy 2 requires new ductwork to flat roof, connecting into existing extraction ductwork.
📏
Ductwork Route
New ductwork from Canopy 2 through to flat roof — connecting to existing ductwork at roof level
Canopy 1 utilises existing 2x spigot connections. All new ductwork required for Canopy 2 run to roof.
Electrical Supply
Three-phase supply available on site
New extraction fan will be 3-phase with inverter control
🏗️
Access & Constraints
Flat roof access required for fan installation and discharge
Central London location — delivery and access logistics to be coordinated
